New beginnings

Well hello there and welcome to my new blog!

Since I briefly mentioned on Twitter that I was starting this, many inquisitive/semi-grumbling emails landed in my inbox. Most were along the lines of 'what-are-you-doing-it's-so-exciting-can-you-upload-the-new-blog-NOW' but others were a bit upset, wondering what would be happening to the old one and "have I turned my back on beauty FOREVER!?". The answer of course, is no. I love beauty (and my shallow makeup loving heart would never allow it) but I don't want to write about it all the time.

I just felt like it was time for a fresh start, a new layout, a new look, a new beginning! Yes, I'll still be writing about beauty (and making videos) but I want to write about other things too; like shopping, fashion, food and the random adventures and crazy occurrences that often befall me as a result of living in the Middle East.

So there we have it. My beauty blog will be staying where it is, alive and well  - I just won't be there as much as I'll be over here updating this one.
